Ana María Sánchez, founder of Gato Verde, obtained the certificate as Associate Chef and Instructor from the renowned Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, California, USA, in 2010.

Ana María’s path to Raw Food originated from her passion for sports. In a process of learning and growing Ana María gradually changed her diet from meat and processed food to fresh and vegetarian, vegan and eventually raw vegan. Whether in sports or in daily life seeking optimal nutrition became an integral part of her life; and what started out as a necessity, soon turned into passion, then a profession.

With her background in fashion design she now creates delicious and innovative foods that are pleasant to the senses and provide balanced nutrition.

As a certified lifeguard, climbing and TRX instructor she also conducts personal training sessions combined with nutritional advice.
